Jacksonville FL: Jacksonville, get a taste of this: Dennis and Danielle Espinoza, owners of the new up-and-coming Jacksonville brewery, Main & Six Brewing, will be sampling their beers at a tasting on Saturday, May 20, at Beer:30 San Marco, from 12-3pm. Although the new brewery and tap room isn’t expected to open until later this year, there’s nothing like getting the word out — and some beer! Guests will also have the chance to score some logo items, including stainless steel growlers.

Main & Six Brewing, which offered a couple of beer samples at the Riverside Craft Beer Fest in February, will serve four of its house beers during the upcoming sampling. These are: Metro Farmhouse, a cucumber rye saison; Staycation Blonde Ale, a hoppier blonde ale, which took the best-of-show award at Gastrofest Homebrew Competition in 2016; Mix Tape Pale Ale, a hopped-up pale ale; and Unnamed Simcoe Rye Brown Ale, a new addition to the house beer list, described as a different take on the traditional brown ale, featuring more roast and hops, along with the addition of rye for a bit of a different flavor. Samples will be available until the kegs run out.
Main & Six Brewing is located at 1636 N. Main St., in the Springfield area of Jax. The beer sampling takes place at Beer:30 San Marco, at 1543 San Marco Blvd.
Cheers!
