May 30, 2017: Red Cypress Brewery to Begin Distribution in Metro Jax Area via Cavalier Distributing
Lakeland and Winter Springs, FL: Cavalier Distributing and Red Cypress Brewery have announced a partnership through which the Winter Springs brewery's beers will be distributed throughout the Metro Jacksonville area, covering the counties of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns. The agreement expands distribution beyond the Central Florida counties already serviced through another distributor.
The new territory launches will begin with the Jacksonville area during mid-June, according to Carolyn Graham, Cavalier District Manager for North Florida.
Red Cypress Brewery earned a Bronze Medal at the 2017 Best Florida Beer Championships for its Comma British Style Barleywine and a Silver Medal at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival in the Altbier category for its Deep Roots Amber Ale. Its four core beers are Deep Roots Amber Ale, Devil's Chair IPA, Death Roll Sweet Stout, and Spook Hill Pale Ale. The brewery, which opened in October 2015, brews a variety of beer styles, including notables Carl IPA (citrus, grapefruit, fruity), Never Nude American Wheat (blueberry), and Fruit De La Terre (Saison), among others.
Red Cypress Brewery beers will make their debut in Jacksonville, Jax Beach and St. Augustine at the following locations:
June 14: Engine 15 Brewing, Jax Beach, 4-7pm
Zeta Brewing, Jax Beach, 7-9pm
June 15: Alewife Craft Beer Bottle Shop and Tasting Room, Jax, 5-7pm
Dahlia's Pour House, Jax, 7-10pm
June 16: Sampling at Broudy's Liquors Cobblestone, St. Augustine, 4:30-6:30pm
Brewz N Dawgz, St. Augustine, 7-9pm
Hornski's Vinyl Lounge, St. Augustine, 9pm
June 17: Bottlenose Brewing, Jax, 2pm
Red Cypress Brewery is located at 855 E. State Rd. 434, Winter Springs, and is open daily.
Cavalier Distributing, "The Craft Beer Authority," is based in Blue Ash/Cincinnati, Ohio and distributes craft beverages in Indiana, Ohio and Florida. Its Florida facilities are located in Lakeland. The distributor is celebrating its 25th year.
