CIGAR CITY BREWING INTRODUCES NEW LOGO AND 2018 DISTRIBUTION CALENDAR
November 17, 2017, Tampa FL:
Tampa brewery Cigar City Brewing announced its new logo today, along with its 2018 Distribution Calendar.
In a statement released today, the brewery reported that its refreshed logo is the effort of "months of collaboration" with North Carolina agency The Brandit. The new identity program rolls out today, and is now displayed on CCB's website and social media platforms.
The new logo will make its way through the marketplace in the coming weeks, and is identified on the brewery's latest bottle release, Café con Leche Sweet Stout. The new identity and branding is "one of the multiple exciting developments slated for Cigar City Brewing in the coming months," according to the statement.
The 2018 CCB Distribution Calendar specifies six year-round beers. Fans of the popular Guayabera Citra Pale Ale will no doubt be thrilled to find the beer is now part of the year-round brands lineup. The calendar also includes seasonal releases in cans/bottles and draft, and the brewery's draft-only Nitro Series.
CCB's beer is available in 12 states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado and Utah. It also exports to Denmark.
Cigar City Brewing, founded in Tampa in 2009 by Joey Redner, produces the well-known Jai Alai IPA and Hunahpu's Imperial Stout. With a goal of creating quality beer to reflect the flavors and history of the Tampa area, the brewery's production has increased from 1,000 barrels of beer in 2009 to 65,000 barrels in 2016. The brewery partnered with Colorado-based Oskar Blues in 2016, providing growth and expansion.
On another note, tickets for Cigar City Brewing's annual Hunahpu's Day (March 10, 2018) go on sale November 24.
